We are seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts that power Chainraise’s core financial products. You will work closely with our CTO, backend, and product teams to deliver crowdfunding, lending, and savings contracts on Ethereum-compatible networks (e.g., Base, Polygon, Arbitrum).

This is a high-ownership role with a blend of startup agility and enterprise-level rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, write, and deploy smart contracts for crowdfunding, lending, and savings products.

• Ensure contracts are secure, upgradeable, and gas-efficient.

• Integrate contracts with stablecoins (USDC) and DeFi protocols (Aave, Compound).

• Collaborate with backend engineers to connect contracts to treasury and API services.

• Write extensive test suites and conduct audits (internal and external).

• Stay updated with EIPs (Ethereum Improvement Proposals) and Web3 best practices.

• Contribute to technical documentation, investor materials, and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a blockchain/smart contract engineer.

• Proficiency in Solidity and EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum).

• Strong grasp of DeFi mechanics (lending, staking, escrow).

• Experience with security audits and common attack vectors (reentrancy, overflow, flash loan attacks).

• Hands-on with developer tools: Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, OpenZeppelin libraries.

• Familiarity with USDC, ERC20/721 standards, oracles (Chainlink), and layer-2 scaling.

• Strong communication skills — able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
