The Role

A growing cyber security start-up in Leeds is seeking a Full-Stack PHP Developer with strong back-end skills and an interest in security. The role involves working on an established, AWS-hosted SaaS platform for external attack surface management, enhancing functionality, improving performance, and ensuring security and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and scale the AWS-hosted EASM platform.
• Deliver back-end and front-end features using PHP (Laravel), React, and TypeScript.
• Design, integrate, and manage APIs and microservices.
• Optimise for performance, scalability, and security.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer.
• Strong back-end skills with PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
• Front-end development with React and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security principles and secure coding practices.

Highly Desirable

• Professional experience in cybersecurity (SaaS, vulnerability management, EASM).
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML in a security context.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
