Java Software Engineer - Hedge Fund - multiple positions available - £100-150,000 base salary

You’ll join a development team who are looking to hire a range of Java Developers this year. There’s no benchmark or limit to years of experience providing you’re keen to learn and love solving complex coding problems relating to data. You’ll be involved in the whole development process, from design to implementation and you’ll directly see your work in action.

Along with Java and AWS, you’ll be exposed to a range of projects, ranging from building new products from scratch or building new functionalities to trading systems.

You'll also get exposure to Python, lots of SQL (of course) and depending on your level of experience, data stream processing tools like Kafka, Spark, etc. As these companies continue to build new platforms and modernise, you’ll also be exposed to the cloud and various other modern tools and tech.

Providing you have solid experience in Java, AWS and buy-side finance, you’ll expect a salary up to £150k depending on experience and you’ll also expect a discretionary bonus and a range of benefits - we can discuss this when we talk.
