Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading assigned EPC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full-cycle EPCC projects-from concept development through handover and closure, including the defects liability period.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, corporate leadership, government authorities, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and defect resolution.
  • Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and assess risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle contractual matters including bonds, insurance, variations, extensions of time, and contract close-out.
  • Oversee financial aspects such as budgeting, cash flow, invoicing, claims, and variation orders.
  • Identify scope changes early and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
  • Review and approve all formal submissions to clients and authorities.
  • Participate in site audits and walkthroughs, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Develop and implement project strategies considering scope, cost, time, safety, and quality.
  • Resolve operational challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities to key personnel and manage team productivity.
  • Evaluate and approve changes that enhance project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all project, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and maintain adherence to corporate workflows.
  • Continuously assess project risks and opportunities, maintaining a strong risk management focus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Energy Infrastructure projects.
  • At least 8 years of proven project management experience in major LNG or Oil & Gas projects, ideally involving FSRU.
  • Experience working with renowned clients in Asia is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and business acumen.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and relocate to project sites.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, including project tendering during execution.
  • This role is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents due to project requirements and regulatory considerations.
