Role Overview

We are seeking a backend software engineer to help architect, build, and implement our technology strategy. You will collaborate with a high-performing engineering team to deliver dependable, innovative solutions that support company growth. Your work will be instrumental in building and scaling the infrastructure that underpins business objectives, ensuring the platform remains reliable, secure, and performant.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and execute the technology roadmap, taking projects from prototype through to production-grade backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions aligned with best practices
• Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, ensuring secure and adaptable connections
• Deliver backend systems that exceed customer expectations and enable company scaling
• Stay up to date with backend and web3 development trends to keep the platform at the forefront of the industry
• Establish scalable architecture that supports current needs and future growth

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience (startup experience a plus)
• Strong backend coding skills in languages such as Go, Rust, and experience with databases and cloud platforms (Go/Rust familiarity a bonus, not required)
• Demonstrated open-source contributions showing high-quality software and impactful work
• Experience designing resilient systems and APIs from scratch with scalability in mind
• Bonus: Achievements in programming contests (e.g., ACM-ICPC, Topcoder) or Capture-the-Flag competitions (e.g., CSAW, DEFCON)
