About the Role

We're expanding our Digital Product team and are looking for multiple Senior Product Designers to join us!

ASOS is undergoing a digital transformation, evolving our Product team and processes with a dynamic new approach that puts our digital products at the core of our business. We need a skilled Senior Product Designer to be a key player in this transformative journey.

We currently receive over 2.5 billion visits per year, have more than 23 million active customers, and over 50 million unique visitors per month. This creates a highly committed and exciting environment with opportunities to develop best-in-class digital products.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be an integral part of one of our many product development teams, focused on executing our strategic missions and achieving defined objectives.

You will play a key role throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and definition to concept design, research, validation, and delivery. You'll create documentation, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI that delight our customers and meet business needs.

The Details

  • Own the end-to-end design of digital products within your Product development team, ensuring they are built, shipped, and continually optimised.
  • Focus on delivering outcomes and value for customers and the business as part of the new product operating model.
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team including product managers, engineers, business partners and stakeholders, driving end-to-end delivery and being accountable for the performance and success of your initiatives.
  • Work in an agile environment, adapting to changing needs and embracing an agile mindset.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to ensure insight-driven, customer-centric solutions and validate design choices.
  • Design with consistency and brand principles in mind, knowing when to use our design system and when to break away from it.
  • Communicate design choices, progress, and research findings early and often.
  • Champion the user and be their voice at all times, adhering to a user-centered design philosophy.
  • Ensure all designs meet ASOS's target accessibility standards.
  • Understand the technology, business processes, and data models that underpin our user experiences.
  • Stay updated on new technology, design trends, and emerging design thinking.


Qualifications

About you

  • You thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • You are adaptive and embrace an agile mindset.
  • You have a proven track record demonstrating skills covering user research, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • You are a Figma pro, an expert at creating and reusing components and shared styles as part of a design system, and familiar with conducting user interviews and tests through the Usertesting.com platform.
  • You have experience designing for multiple platforms - Web (Mobile, Tablet & Desktop), and App (iOS & Android).
  • You have experience in making data-driven design choices (e.g. from analytics, quant/qual research, and MVTs).
  • You have great communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design choices and influence key stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about delivering high-quality digital products that meet customer needs and drive business value.
