For the first 3 months of your employment, you will be required to work onsite every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. After this period, you will transition to a rota-based schedule.

About the Role:
As a NOC Monitoring Engineer, you will help ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our digital networks across Europe.
You will monitor systems, address incidents, and resolve issues quickly to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
The role involves real-time network monitoring and prompt responses to system alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Systems: Oversee network infrastructure, servers, applications, and other systems using monitoring tools
- Incident Response: Detect and respond to network or system alerts. Escalate incidents to relevant teams when needed
- Troubleshooting: Conduct initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of network issues to minimise downtime
- Documentation: Record all issues and actions taken in the ticketing system
- Collaboration: Work with technical teams, including Network Engineers and System Administrators, to solve complex issues
- Reporting: Provide periodic reports on network performance and incidents
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to monitoring and response procedures
- Change Management: Support in planning and implementing upgrades or migrations
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, including documenting and relaying technical details
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within the NOC team and collaborate across departments
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Adaptability: Stay agile in fast-changing conditions and handle evolving priorities
- Customer Service: Able to explain technical issues in non-technical language when required
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high accuracy when configuring systems or resolving issues
- Analytical Skills: Review performance data and identify potential areas for improvement
- Ownership of Incidents - Demonstrate accountability for end-to-end incident management, driving swift resolution, minimising downtime, and ensuring clear post-incident documentation
- Proactive Performance Improvement - Go beyond monitoring by spotting recurring issues, identifying root causes, and recommending improvements that strengthen network reliability and stability
- Cross-Team Influence - Build trusted relationships with engineers and system administrators, acting as the key link between NOC monitoring and technical resolution, while communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders when required
- Process & Tool Optimisation - Take initiative in refining monitoring tools, dashboards, and workflows, implementing improvements that make detection and escalation more efficient
- Readiness for Critical Events - Be relied upon to handle high-priority incidents with confidence, demonstrating resilience, sound judgement, and the ability to coordinate responses under pressure
