Your new company

You'll be joining an established FinTech company in Sydney CBD. The business has hit some major milestones and is now recognised as a leader within their industry, providing solutions to some of the most recognisable companies in Financial Services. The Role

The role will primarily focus on back-end development using Python, Java, RESTfulAPIs, AWS. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries is highly desirable. As the company leverages React & Typescript, candidates with strong commercial experience in React & Typescript will be especially well-suited.

This team’s competence extends from full-stack web solutions, API middleware and databases, advanced data visualisation with JavaScript single page applications, and Big Data tool sets such as Spark and Redshift. They are a highly talented and experienced team with a great culture.

• CI/CD Technologies & IaC (Terraform, GitHub Actions)
• RESTful API
• AWS (EKS, API Gateway, Lambda & Serverless, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS, RDS/Aurora)
• PostgreSQL
• React

Non-Technical Experience

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally a FinTech, SaaS or PaaS company
• A solutions-focussed approach to engineering
• Willingness to work as part of a close-knit and high-performing team
• A passion for engineering and all things technology
