Fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist how enjoys variety in their day and the opportunity to work within a group of companies that has a diverse range of service and product offerings.
As a newly created role, you will have an opportunity to utilise your knowledge and play a pivotal role in bringing the HR functions inhouse.
Reporting to the Director, your duties will include:
- Create employment contracts and employee inductions / onboarding
- Update, develop and implement HR policies relevant to the needs of the businesses
- Assist with legal compliance across the HR functions, identifying areas of risk
- Drive the performance appraisal reviews and provide support to managers and employees as required
- Manage employee relations of both individual and collective relationships in the workplace
- Employee performance management plans for non performers
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, off boarding and staff engagement to ensure a smooth experience for all staff
- Participate in broader HR projects including engagement surveys, system rollouts, process improvements and incident & accident records
- Management of workers compensation claims and return to work programs
- Produce employee, head count, absenteeism and productivity reports
- Update organisational company structures
- Undertake administrative duties as required by management
