Job Title: IMS / Core Network Engineer /Lead

Location: Argentina (Open to LATAM/Remote 100%)

Support US based Clients/English language proficiency is MUST !


About the Role

We are seeking a IMS Customer Care Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal support teams. This high-impact, customer-facing role requires strong technical leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex network environments and critical incidents.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry, with at least 6 years in customer support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards, 3G/4G/5G call flows, TCP/IP, network security, and core network functions.
  • Expertise in IMS, Subscriber Data Management (SDM), Signaling & Policy, and Packet Core technologies.
  • Experience with telecom products and solutions is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Native environments, VNF/CNF, Microservices, OpenStack, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and escalation management abilities with experience coordinating cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer support interactions.
  • Analyze network and support data to provide proactive technical recommendations.
  • Lead incident management, ensuring timely resolution and 24x7 emergency response.
  • Provide end-to-end technical leadership in collaboration with Customer Care Managers and Delivery teams.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s network to support complex technical scenarios.
  • Ensure SLA and KPI compliance to maintain high service quality.
  • Promote the use of automation tools and contribute to knowledge management efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with established Change Management processes.
  • Generate and present support performance reports during Quarterly Review Reports (QRRs).
