Backend Developer (.NET/C#) – Financial & Trading Platforms

Our client is looking for a motivated Backend Developer (.NET/C#) to join their dynamic teams and help transform & modernize trading and banking systems.

Currently, they’re refactoring core systems into microservices on AWS, using Domain Driven

Design principles.

✨ What you’ll do

• Join the Trading, Investing & Saving (TISA) Team, driving the online banking platform & financial products.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, DevOps, testers, product owners & scrum masters.
• Plan, estimate, deliver features in two-week sprints.
• Participate in agile ceremonies & enjoy a flexible 50% remote policy.

• A strong team player with a sense of ownership & responsibility.
• Able to work independently, from analysis to delivery.
• Curious about banking, trading, and new technologies.
• Pragmatic, meticulous, and eager to improve systems.

🛠️ Requirements

• Degree in IT/engineering OR 5+ years’ backend development experience.
• Solid analysis & business translation skills.
• Agile experience.

Technical must-haves:

• .NET with C#, ASP.Net
• async/await, OOP, SOLID
• ORM (NHibernate/Entity Framework)
• API design (REST/gRPC, OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Relational DBs (MSSQL/MySQL)
• Unit testing, mocking, Git

Languages:

• English (fluent)
• Dutch/French = plus

• Microservices architecture
