Position Overview

We are seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer to join our IT & Security team based in Helsinki, Finland.

This pivotal role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our modern IT infrastructure, providing support for around 190 endpoints, and leading cutting-edge IT & security projects with a strong emphasis on AI-driven automation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cloud-based solutions, security best practices, and innovative automation tools.

Our current team of 2 professionals is based in Helsinki, Finland, supporting a truly international organization with operations across Europe and the USA. While we have a modern office in the heart of Helsinki city center, this role is primarily remote-focused - you'll be working in a remote-first environment, collaborating with colleagues across different time zones and cultures to drive automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS endpoints across our global remote-first organization
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance
• Lead and manage IT & Security projects focused on AI-based automations and intelligent workflow solutions, independently managing timelines and deliverables
• Drive security initiatives and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO27001, ISO27701), ensuring robust protection of our data
• Communicate technical concepts and project progress to leadership, ensuring clear organization-wide visibility

Essential Requirements

• Must have practical experience with AI automation tools such as N8N, Zapier, Realm, or similar platforms
• Must have knowledge of SaaS solutions with hands-on experience in SaaS app management and security configurations
• Technical proficiency with tools like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence, Notion, Freshservice, Omnissa Workspace One, and VMware Carbon Black EDR
• Proven expertise in supporting and managing Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS endpoints in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell and Bash preferred)
• Understanding of modern authentication methods including SSO, passwordless authentication, biometric systems, and zero-trust principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a collaborative team approach and proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and service management best practices

Highly Desirable (Bonus Qualifications)

• Information Security / Compliance experience: Knowledge of infosec frameworks, compliance maintenance, and security automation (ISO27001, ISO27701, GDPR, EU AI Act)
• Vendor Management expertise: Experience in vendor risk evaluations and vendor lifecycle processes
• Certifications: Industry standard certifications in cloud security, cybersecurity, or compliance
