We design digital products and services where brand, usability, and technology come together, creating experiences people enjoy and businesses can grow with. From consumer apps to complex B2B platforms, we focus on clarity, craft, and impact.

Now we’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team in Helsinki.

What you’ll be doing

As a Product Designer at Hi Shine, you’ll work hands-on in shaping digital products and services for Nordic brands and globally operating clients. On a typical project, you might:

• Work in multidisciplinary project teams together with strategists, brand creatives, and developers.
• Make sense of customer goals and user needs, and turn them into concepts, flows, and user interface designs.
• Conduct user interviews and use other research methods to bring clarity and insights into the design process.
• Build interactive prototypes, user flows, and scalable design systems in Figma, ensuring teams can move fast with clarity and consistency.
• Craft visually refined experiences with a strong sense of color, typography, iconography, and layout that brings designs to life.
• Contribute to Hi Shine’s design culture – sharing knowledge and evolving our processes.

What we’re looking for

We don’t believe in a single mold for great designers, but we think you’ll thrive here if you recognize yourself in the following:

• Experience – You’ve worked on digital products and services for at least 3–5 years, across different industries and scales.
• Independence & proactivity – You take initiative, keep things moving, and feel comfortable driving work forward. In our small team, everyone carries responsibility — sometimes working solo, sometimes together.
• Holistic mindset – You connect the dots between brand, business, and user experience, from big picture to fine detail.
• Collaboration – You believe the best outcomes come from diverse teams, and you know how to bring others along in the process.
• Communication – You can clearly present design decisions, and you’re confident in facilitating discussions with clients and teammates.
• Curiosity – You’re eager to explore new tools, methods, and technologies that can push design and processes forward. You love to dive into different industries and work with diverse people.
• Fluency in English (Finnish is a plus, but not required).
