We are looking for a Senior HTML Game Developer to join our growing team.

At Seepia, we're pioneers in creating ads and games that people love to play. With our beautifully designed and technologically innovative playable ads combined with our flexible and employee-driven culture, we are one of the premier providers of playable ad and gaming solutions worldwide. Our main office is located in Lappeenranta, Finland, but we are not confined by location. We are a global and diverse team of awesome people working from around the globe. Our team has completed 600+ projects for industry giants like Small Giant, Rovio, Veikkaus, and Fennica Gaming.

Our playable ads have to operate within challenging size and performance constraints. They have to play well and look good. We also optimise for re-use and continued development, so that we can benefit from our earlier creations in our next projects. We are actively seeking ways in which we can utilise AI in this process, and you might be a key player in developing that aspect, too. We want to be smart in the ways we do our work, to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.

You will work on short projects in a small team with art, design, QA, and management experts to make our playable ads come to life.

What you’ll do:

• Develop well-performing ads and games using HTML5 / Typescript
• Support the team with your technical knowledge from initial designs to final delivery
• Flexibly manage your own work, within overall project timelines
• Identify, communicate and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Mentor junior members of our team, and contribute to organisational growth and excellence through your technical experience

Who we think will do great in this role has:

• 5+ years of game programming experience
• Strong working knowledge of modern Javascript and HTML5
• Experience building the front-end of applications with appealing visual design
• Knowledge and practical experience of game production
• Is a self-motivated team player with time-management skills
• Clear communication in both written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a proactive and flexible environment

We’d love if you have some of these:

• Experience and passion for using AI to getting things done faster and better
• Experience in game industry and with mobile games
• Experience with Unity, high-level scripting languages, version-control, CMS systems, client/server networking
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, other graphic design and layout tools
• Passion to work in all parts of software development life cycle
• Genuine interest in interactive advertising and games
• Interest to develop internal tools and processes, to improve and streamline project work
