Mechanical Project Manager
Helsinki, Finland
We are representing a leading international contractor specialising in delivering large-scale mission critical projects across Europe. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their on-site team in Finland.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client communications and act as a key liaison throughout project delivery.
- Oversee preparation of method statements and risk assessments for mechanical/HVAC works.
- Lead sequencing of installation activities (pipework, equipment) to meet programme milestones.
- Validate project scope commercially from estimating through to technical procurement.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, compliance, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and report on schedule progress, manpower, and two-week lookaheads.
- Support change management, valuations, and final account preparation.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards across site operations.
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical qualification (B.Eng, City & Guilds, HNC/BTEC, NVQ or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role within an M&E contracting environment.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience highly advantageous.
