JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading global consultancy in the data centre construction industry, who are looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a hyperscale data centre project in Helsinki, Finland.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of a large-scale data centre project, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme performance. This client-side position offers the opportunity to lead complex construction works, working closely with stakeholders across design, engineering, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible leader onsite, ensuring safe work practices and assessing project progress
• Coordinate with client, consultants, and contractors on snagging, schedules, and partner engagement
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues, maintaining smooth delivery across all phases
• Implement and monitor project procedures, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, solve problems, and communicate project impacts
• Support project teams in driving efficiency, productivity, and safety performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in hyperscale data centres or mission-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of CSA and MEP systems
• Skilled in client, contractor, and vendor management, including RFPs, bidding, and change orders
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Experience on international projects with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
