Network Engineer

Network Engineer – Stuttgart (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

6 Month Contract | English Speaking | German End Client

We're hiring an experienced Network Engineer with strong skills in Extreme Networks and CATO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage CATO devices and Extreme switches/APs
• Design and deploy Extreme Networks solutions
• Lead network upgrades and migrations
• Provide expert troubleshooting and support
• Maintain documentation and monitor performance
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with vendor support

Requirements:

• 8+ years in network engineering
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, QoS
• Experience with XMC, Fabric Connect, ExtremeCloud IQ
• ECS/ECE certifications preferred
• Familiarity with Python/Ansible and network security
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Cisco SDN, Meraki, Velocloud
• AWS Infrastructure
• Cisco Wireless, Routers & Switches
