Network Engineer – Stuttgart (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)
6 Month Contract | English Speaking | German End Client
We're hiring an experienced Network Engineer with strong skills in Extreme Networks and CATO.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CATO devices and Extreme switches/APs
- Design and deploy Extreme Networks solutions
- Lead network upgrades and migrations
- Provide expert troubleshooting and support
- Maintain documentation and monitor performance
- Mentor junior engineers and liaise with vendor support
Requirements:
- 8+ years in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, QoS
- Experience with XMC, Fabric Connect, ExtremeCloud IQ
- ECS/ECE certifications preferred
- Familiarity with Python/Ansible and network security
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills:
- Cisco SDN, Meraki, Velocloud
- AWS Infrastructure
- Cisco Wireless, Routers & Switches
