We’re a dynamic, data-driven team focused on developing web-based analytics tools and data visualisations that help our business make smarter decisions. We’re looking for a talented Senior Web Developer to join us on a contract basis, with potential for renewal, to help build scalable and insightful web applications.

What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python (Flask), JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, interactive visualisations
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications
- Contribute to architecture decisions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security
- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and team meetings
- 5+ years professional experience in web development
- Strong backend skills with Python and Flask
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in evolving, ambiguous environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- REST API design and development
- Knowledge of web application security best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Competitive salary
- Contract: 10-11 months initially, with likely renewal
- Location: Cork 3 days a week, hybrid
