Requirements:

We’re looking for an Intermediate Fullstack Developer who can design, build, test, and ship high quality software that delivers value to our customers.

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining software, or an equivalent level of education or work experience, and a proven track record of substantial contributions to software projects with high business impact.
• You should be proficient in Scala, and have experience with asynchronous programming concepts (e.g., Futures, promises).
• Expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is essential.
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining existing patterns and best practices in delivering code and tests for stories and epics that impact the team.
• You must be capable of performing root cause analysis to identify and address bugs and outages, and adhere to logging and debugging best practices across services and applications.
• You should also be well-versed in basic security and compliance practices, and able to maintain agile processes and continuous integration/delivery practices to ship stories and manage medium-complexity epics/projects.
• Ideally, you’ll have experience with front-end technologies like TypeScript, React.js, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
• You must be able to collaborate effectively within and across teams, engaging in technical discussions and communicating non-technical concepts with design and product teams. The ability to deliver on roadmaps and communicate risks and opportunities at both individual and epic levels is key. We value perseverance, resilience, and the ability to cope with change or ambiguity, always striving to advance work and projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for successfully delivering medium complexity epics within both service and front-end applications, ensuring they align with the current architecture.
• You will coordinate and conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction across components while adhering to coding and design standards, particularly those related to security, accessibility, and privacy.
• You’ll autonomously triage and resolve bugs and outages, and maintain observability by refining logging dashboards, with guidance from senior developers when needed.
• You will take ownership of projects, collaborating closely with product and design teams to plan and execute effectively, proactively identifying and escalating risks, and managing scope changes.
• Your ability to contribute to technical discussions, incorporate feedback, and drive collaborative code reviews will be essential to optimizing code quality.
• The role requires experience with a variety of technologies, including React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Scala, PHP, MongoDB, Grafana, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Jira, and other tools.
