Data Analytics Engineer (Sligo or Donegal)

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide meaningful business insights
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Work with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse and utilize SQL to manage and query large datasets
• Streamline data workflows and automate routine tasks using Python or similar scripting languages
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable analytics
• Ensure data integrity and continuously seek ways to enhance data processes
• Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences, enabling them to make data-informed decisions

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of practical experience as a Data Analyst or comparable role
• Expertise in SQL and Power BI, with strong skills in creating effective visualizations and working knowledge of DAX
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse preferred)
• Comfortable using Python or similar tools for data automation and scripting
• Good understanding of ETL processes and ERP reporting systems, especially Dynamics 365 Finance Operations
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter who thrives in both independent and collaborative team settings
