Our company is an international aviation spare parts supplier, providing a wide range of services including aircraft teardown and components repair, MRO and maintenance, engine and APU repairs.


Eftec Aero is looking for a Director of Procurement and Logistics department to oversee the spare parts supply for partner MROs, ensuring timely, efficient and cost-effective sourcing, purchasing and delivery processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor current and upcoming projects (aircraft C-Checks) scheduled for maintenance in Riga and USA
  • Track employee workload and delegate tasks according to urgency and capacity
  • Oversee the operational status of projects (discuss problematic parts and supply status with MROs)
  • Prepare proposals (pricing offers for potential projects)
  • Participate in parts procurement process when necessary
  • Maintain an up-to-date overview of all ongoing projects to provide timely information to management
  • Prepare various types of budgets (actual expenditures, planned costs, etc.)
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers to sustain good relationships and receive updates on their business developments that could benefit the company
  • Analyze procurement efficiency, identify overspending, and implement corrective measures
  •  Calculate and issue invoices according to agreements between EFTEC and MRO organizations
  • Negotiate better prices and supply conditions with spare parts suppliers and logistics companies
  • Travel between Riga and Miami when necessary to communicate with local Eftec teams and MRO personnel
  •  Attend aviation exhibitions to meet with suppliers and logistics providers


Requirements:


  • Solid experience in purchasing and logistics of aircraft spare parts
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to work in a high-pace environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to take responsibility and control the status of several projects at once
  • Readiness to cooperate with a large number of people, ensuring that the parts supply is running smoothly and efficiently
  • Readiness to work within non-standard business hours (not every day, but when AOG situations occur and the C-Checks are in their finishing stage)
  •  Knowledge of Wings maintenance control software is preferred, but not necessary
