Snowball is a private equity and digital transformation platform within the Zabolis Partners Group. We invest in fast-growing companies that are reshaping their industries: from international e-commerce technology player Smart Brands Laboratory, laser optical components manufacturer EKSMA Optics, to digital learning provider Tamo Group, high-tech ventures in the Brolis group, and data solutions company External Tables.

As an Investment Analyst, you will become a key member of the Snowball team, helping to create value through data-driven insights, operational improvements, and strategic decision-making. In the near term, your focus will be on our investment in EKSMA Optics – a leading laser optics company from the Baltics with global ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities across various sectors.
• Develop financial models and analyze investment opportunities to optimize business strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and data visualizations to assist in decision-making processes for senior management.
• Provide business insights and recommendations for market entry, and expansion strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, engineering, and product development groups, to gain a holistic understanding of the business landscape.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, risk analyses, and strategic business plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of financial analysis, market research, and business strategy.
• Proficiency in Lithuanian and English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about various industries, from education technology to high-tech laser components.

Salary:

From 2000 EUR/month before taxes. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
