DevOps Engineer
Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux, container technologies, and cloud-native automation? In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development and continuous improvement of a data platform operating in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment. You’ll work closely with data modelers, agile product teams, and infrastructure specialists to build and operate scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that enable innovative healthcare and research applications. Your expertise with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker will be crucial as you manage container-based workloads and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
You will design and automate infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code principles, leveraging tools such as Terraform and Ansible, while embedding monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. A deep understanding of Linux-based systems and scripting in Python or Bash will help you automate operational tasks, improve system reliability, and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Security, performance, and stability will be core to your work, and you’ll contribute to the documentation of system architectures and operational processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with clinical and administrative systems.
To succeed in this position, you bring hands-on experience in DevOps or platform engineering, ideally within a healthcare or regulated environment. Familiarity with standards such as HL7, FHIR, and openEHR, as well as integration between clinical and administrative applications, is highly beneficial. You combine a proactive, collaborative mindset with solid skills in container orchestration, Linux system administration, and CI/CD automation. Experience with databases (Oracle, MS SQL), networking, and IT security will further support your impact. If you’re eager to help shape the future of digital healthcare through modern infrastructure and DevOps practices, this opportunity offers the perfect environment for your next step.
