Senior Network Engineer | IOT Services - £65,000 + Bonus (Hybrid)

💰£60,000 - £65,000

🏡 Hybrid working – 3 days per week in Watford / 2 days working from home

💻 Tech stack – Cisco Routing & Switching, WAN / LAN, CCNP or CCIE

Burns Sheehan is working with a Watford-based company which is embarking on a significant digital transformation over the next 12 months. With major projects securing the future of the business for the next several years, we are supporting their push for excellent with a number of key team hires. The business has a presence across the UK and mainland Europe and lots of significant initiatives in the pipeline.

They are a technology company servicing different sectors including Security, Retail, IOT and Telecare and are currently up to a team size of 200 people, headquartered in Watford. They have completed several acquisitions over recent years and have won numerous awards during this time too.

To support this growth, they’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and manage complex networks. You’ll design, build, configure and install a high availability network and ensure networks are working at optimum efficiency. We’re looking for someone confident in providing technical consultancy as required in relation to network optimization and be efficient in delivering operational support.

What we’re looking for:

• experience as a Senior or equivalent Network Engineer
• experience with Cisco networking protocols.
• Routing (BGP, OSPF) and Switches (L3 and L2)
• and experience working with Cisco Firewalls
• certifications such as CCNP or CCIE
• of network protocols and technologies – LAN, WAN, SAN, VPN
