SoftServe, a global digital consulting company, supporting a platform-focused client with backend modernization and feature expansion.

The client offers a platform that connects product managers and engineering teams with real users who test and provide feedback on products.

The project implies active development with extension of existing functionality. The engineer will contribute to building components from scratch and setting up CI/CD environments.

IF YOU ARE

A Senior Backend Engineer with 8+ years of experience in professional software development
Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, gRPC, Kafka, MongoDB, GraphQL
Experienced in distributed systems, microservices, serverless patterns, building robust APIs and integrating across services, producing technical documentation and maintainable codebases
Comfortable with DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, AWS), monitoring and observability tools like DataDog
Good at working within existing architectural decisions and delivery goals
A skilled communicator and collaborator, fluent in English

AND YOU WANT TO

Contribute directly to a pre-scoped system initiative focused on backend enhancements
Translate product requirements into scalable backend services
Build robust, well-tested services aligned with the current architecture
Drive reliable deployment through clean code and effective documentation
Lead or mentor others while collaborating with engineers, PMs, and designers
Extend platform capabilities through high-impact backend delivery
Maintain architectural consistency while moving quickly and pragmatically
Operate in a transparent and agile development environment
Ensure backend services are reliable, maintainable, and well-documented
