About Us
With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people.
We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!
About The Role
As an iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying mobile solutions that improve the turn-by-turn navigation experience for our drivers and couriers. That will mostly happen via coding in Swift, combining elements of backend-driven UI.
Mobile engineers at Bolt usually get onboarded to back-end as well within their first year, so this could be a great opportunity if you are keen to grow as a full-stack engineer. All engineers at Bolt have a heavy inclination towards product thinking, so you will get a chance to shape up and drive exciting product initiatives yourself, in partnership with your Product Manager and the rest of the Geo Navigation team!
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- You are great at making data-driven decisions that positively impact the business. Experience in product companies with a bias for properly experimenting their product hypotheses is a plus.
- You have a drive for leading initiatives and features till the end, even if the last mile is the hardest, and for monitoring and ensuring their success even after delivery.
- You have experience testing and releasing mobile changes while ensuring their quality across multiple Android versions. You have experience with unit testing and automation testing frameworks
- You have strong principles towards writing clean, simple, secure, and maintainable code
- You possess a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Why you’ll love it here:
- Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.
- Impact millions of customers and partners in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.
- Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.
- Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
- Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
