About the Role

We are seeking a Development Specialist with a strong background in predictive analytics to provide technical leadership in researching and developing data-driven methods to anticipate equipment failures and maintenance needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify breakthrough technologies and solutions that meet client needs or create new market demand.
  • Provide technical consultation to development teams for internal product and solution initiatives.
  • Gather, validate, and consolidate relevant product data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate across functions to enable proper data tracking and instrumentation for new features and products.
  • Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of product performance, user behavior, and market trends.
  • Develop and monitor key product metrics, dashboards, and reports to track performance and detect anomalies.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of product issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and clear presentations for stakeholders.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to inform product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Provide coaching and training to engineering teams to share best practices and ensure successful project execution.
  • Support sales teams with technical presentations and proposal reviews when needed.


Qualifications (M/F/D)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analytics or data science focused on product performance prediction.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages and data modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international) on short notice.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with power-electronics product analytics.
  • Background in industries such as ports, steel mills, solar plants, or energy storage.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling in the energy sector.
  • Experience using product analytics platforms.
