Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong passion for building robust, secure applications in the defense sector. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that power critical defense operations. You will be part of a cross functional team, including developers with a broad responsibility e.g. design, security and to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet stringent security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design & Development: Architect, develop, and deploy secure software applications in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

· Collaboration: Work as a part of multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and implement new features and improvements.

· Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring adherence to industry security standards.

· Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members through peer programming and mentoring.

· Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex software issues to ensure optimal performance.

· Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in embedded defense applications.

· Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation to support development and compliance processes.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or master’s Sendegree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. If you don't hold a formal degree, we welcome exceptional candidates who have demonstrated equivalent practical skills.

· 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the defense, machine learning, computer vision or software defined radio.

· Proficiency in one or more programming languages e.g. C++, Python or assembler.

· In-depth understanding of software development methodologies and security best practices.

· Experience with version control systems i.e. Git and the agile development framework Scrum.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

· Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

· Experience with defense-specific software development standards and security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is a plus.

· Swedish citizenship is required. You will have to go through a security check.
