What you will be doing:
- Development of a new generation of mobile test probes for 3G, 4G, 5G, and IoT to simulate user services like voice, SMS, and data.
- Utilising development languages such as C and C++ on a Linux platform.
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (e.g., Computer Science).
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with a preference for a background in the telecom industry.
- Strong proficiency in C++, data structures, and multi-threading, with solid experience in Linux system programming.
- A solid understanding of mobile network technologies (3G, 4G, 5G, IoT, IMS/VoLTE) and network signalling protocols (SIP, RRC, NAS), as defined in 3GPP standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with AT command sets and modem communication is also required.
- Experience with Android development is a bonus, along with a working knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocol analysers like Wireshark and QCAT.
- A solid understanding of eUICC/eSIM and relevant GSMA standards is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as LUA, Shell, or Perl is a plus.
