Test Engineer

Role Description

1. Test Preparation and Role Definition: Business Test Conducted by end users or requesters to validate functionality from a business process perspective. Formal Technical Test Verification of correct implementation of workflows and processes. Test Planning Creating and expanding test scenarios in DevOps (e.g., via TestPlans in Visual Studio). Test Automation Supplying test cases to the test automation team.

2. Test Execution Business Regression Tests Performing tests at task or bug level, or regression tests across the entire lifecycle. Role Tests Checking whether new roles are correctly assigned and whether the content (e.g., reports, dashboards) is displayed as expected. Negative Tests Ensuring that roles can only access the intended data (e.g., a role for Sweden only shows SE data).

3. Test Environments and ToolsUse of test systems such as SAP ERP, which are connected to the HR portal. Error reproduction.

Skills/Requirements:

• Knowledge of TestComplete
• Workflow and process analysis skills.
• Ability to perform error analyses.
• Coordination with project stakeholders in English.
• Documentation and tracking of test activities.
• Participation in meetings on system integration and rollout planning.
• Quality Assurance Supplying data for internal and external audits.
