We are looking for a Lead / Senior Backend Developer who is passionate about backend engineering, design excellence, and building robust, scalable systems from concept to production.

Your Role

As a Lead / Senior Backend Developer, you will drive the backend development of enterprise-grade solutions while ensuring best practices in design, testing, and maintenance. You will collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver high-quality systems that scale. This role requires not just coding expertise, but also architectural thinking and leadership in shaping technical direction.

What You’ll Do

• Lead backend development efforts from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable services using Node.js and/or .NET Core.
• Collaborate with system and cloud architects to align backend components with broader system architecture.
• Design and implement APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply strong design principles and ensure solutions adhere to architectural best practices.
• Collaborate on test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and quality processes.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of backend development experience, ideally with Node.js and .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DDD, modular design, etc.).
• Experience with architecture-level concepts such as distributed systems, scalability, resilience, and event-driven design.
• Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to testing and long-term maintenance.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and messaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to discuss trade-offs and drive decisions.
• A collaborative mindset with leadership potential or experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming or media-related backends.
• Exposure to system-level and test architecture.
• Understanding of quality optimization and NFRs (performance, security, maintainability).
