Merzigo is currently looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our remote technology team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of DevOps Engineer experience.
• Experienced in any of CI/CD tools like Azure Devops, Teamcity, Octopus or Jenkins
• Ability to set up, optimize and backup systems in servers like dbs, message servers etc.
• Basic knowledge about network topologies
• (Preferably) Has knowledge about container orchestration tools. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm etc.
• Experienced in system management in both Unix based and Windows based servers.
• (Preferably) Experienced in cloud technologies. Aws. Azure etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in working with agile culture.
• Experience with collaboration software systems like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub,
• Excellent team player, self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and disciplined.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintenance of applications deployed in the cloud (Private Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Dockerize applications and implement automated CI/CD process using Jenkins.
• Improve and manage the software installation process by following the best practices of configuration management.
• Suggest DevOps process improvements for the development team, influence the development process.
