We’re building the next-generation indoor golf simulator web/mobile platform at Five Iron Golf, used by hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. The platform powers immersive, data-driven golf challenges, live competitions, and interactive social gameplay — all from modern indoor golf venues that blend tech, sport, and bar-style hospitality.
We’re now hiring a UI/UX Specialist on a contract basis to design flows, annotate specs, and polish features with the product team. This role has the potential to evolve into a permanent position next year for the right candidate.
Budget: $30–40/hour · Contract
Start: ASAP
You’ll be the key person translating product vision into clean, usable, clickable designs — and making sure devs know exactly what to build.
- You’ve designed real web and mobile products in Figma.
- You’re detail-obsessed and care about responsiveness, interactions, and fidelity.
- You’ve worked in a small product team or startup where you had to move fast and wear multiple hats.
- You can annotate clearly for developers, think through edge cases, and help the team ship features smoothly.
- You communicate clearly, document well, and don’t need micromanagement.
- Design of small features, flows, and improvements (not a full redesign).
- Creating Figma prototypes, components, and clickable flows.
- Annotating specs and preparing user stories/tickets for developers.
- Collaborating directly with the product team for sign-off.
- Supporting QA/testing by ensuring clear design specs.
- 3–6 years in product design (UX/UI).
- Strong Figma skills (components, variants, prototyping).
- Experience working with engineers to deliver production-quality UI.
- Strong English communication.
- Based in or near EU timezones (Poland preferred).
- Two in-person team meetings per year in Krakow or another EU city.
- Familiarity with React Native or web frontend development.
- You’ve been the only designer in a product team before.
- Can start fast and work async.
- $30–40/hour contract (full-time preferred).
- Long-term collaboration, with a path to a permanent role next year.
- 100% remote with 2x yearly team meetups in EU.
- Free working hours, with CEST 15-18 communication window
- Work directly with the product and dev teams.
- High ownership, real product impact.
Send us:
- Your portfolio (real product work).
- Links to shipped products you worked on.
- A short note on how you ensure designs are implemented faithfully.
