Location: We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe. For this role, we prefer candidates who are either based in Dubai or working remotely within +/- 4 hours GST time.

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Golang, DeFi architecture, and smart contracts. The ideal candidate will have an enterprise-oriented mindset, focusing on structure and scalability.

You will be responsible for the performance optimisation and integration of new DeFi protocols into our ecosystem. This role requires comfort working in a Scrum-based, agile environment and operates on a hybrid schedule in our Dubai office, with a minimum of three days on-site per week.

Resonsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in the full application lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Conduct code profiling and performance optimisation
• Implement robust security practices and data protection solutions
• Ensure backend systems meet high standards of reliability and safety
• Integrate new DeFi protocols into backend architecture
• Work closely with smart contracts and Web3 components to ensure smooth interactions
• Support cross-functional teams in building scalable and secure features
  
  
  

Requirments

• Experience building services with Geth and Solidity, including working with large numerical values
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
• Background in mathematics or related quantitative fields
• Proficiency in understanding and analysing DeFi primitives like Uniswap v2 pools
  
  
  

Skills

• Proficient in Golang: design patterns, memory model, multithreading, goroutines, channels, profiling
• Strong knowledge of Solidity and smart contract architecture
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols and token standards
• Ability to read and analyse Solidity code effectively
• Experience working in high-performance or financial systems
