We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing Platform team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll design, implement, and maintain robust backend APIs and services that power the core of our business.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Scope, design, and implement resilient, performant backend solutions.
• Build and scale APIs that support multiple product lines.
• Enhance existing integrations and ensure our systems scale with growth.
• Identify and resolve errors, performance issues, and developer experience challenges.
• Drive engineering best practices and architectural improvements.

✅ We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go).
• Proven track record building 0→1 products (MVP → launch).
• Experience in small, fast-moving teams or agencies/contract roles.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to be hybrid in Toronto (1–2x per week).
