Role: HR Coordinator
Length: 1 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Location: Mississauga, ON – Major Intersection: Dixie Rd/Mathewson Blvd (5 Days on-site)
Rate: Up to $28/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Process employee documentation including onboarding, promotions, terminations, and background checks
- Post job openings, schedule interviews, and maintain accurate HRIS records
- Prepare employment letters and other HR-related correspondence
- Scan and vet invoices before submission to the finance team
- Track and monitor employee work permit statuses and ensure compliance
- Serve as a direct interface between employees, management, and HR
- Prepare reports through Workday (e.g., termination, separation, TBC reports)
- Handle confidential documents and sensitive employee information with discretion
- Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in all HR documentation and processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of HR administrative experience
- Post-secondary education/ Diploma in Human Resources is required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially basic Excel
- Experience with Workday is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
