Network Administrator

Ateko, powered by Bell Canada (formerly FX Innovation), is looking for a Network Administrator for one of its clients.

🗣️ English fluency is mandatory

📅 Confirmed profile: min 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Palo Alto firewalls.

🏢 Hybrid work: 2 days per week on-site in Downtown Toronto

Project Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Palo Alto firewalls, including monitoring, implementing changes, and troubleshooting issues.

This role ensures the reliability and security of network infrastructure through proactive firewall management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in a production environment.
• Perform daily configuration changes based on operational requests.
• Monitor firewall health and performance using Panorama and other tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security incidents.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and efficiency of firewall policies.

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Proficiency with Panorama for centralized management.
• Familiarity with StrataCloud for visibility and analytics.

Technical Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with Prisma Access.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to security best practices.
