AI/ML Engineer

• Develop AI technologies that integrate with our human processes
• Use transfer learning to tune models to our use cases
• Meet regularly with our legal team and data governance personnel to ensure that our AI/ML models adhere to the highest standards of fairness and privacy
• Manage data ingestion processes, oversee labeling efforts, and monitor data quality to support your own machine learning models
• Proactively identify model failure cases and identify new approaches for improving our machine learning models
• Continued education about the latest machine learning algorithms, techniques, and technologies. Data science team members are strongly encouraged to take courses, obtain professional certifications, and attend industry conferences
• Stand up MVPs for web-based internal tools and external customer-facing features
• Develop APIs and/or additional endpoints as necessary to power your frontend features

• You have 4+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, deploying models in production at scale
• All applicants must have professional experience building and deploying AI/ML based software to a cloud environment
• The successful candidate will have basic academic training (self-taught or otherwise) of the theory underlying neural architectures
• Proficiency in Python and python-based AI/ML frameworks, installing packages from PyPI, and debugging common problems using online resources
• Ability to create large software projects that are organized, well-structured, thoughtfully documented, and automatically tested
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production, including monitoring, alerting, automatic bug filing and auditing
• Experience deploying docker swarms
• Experience debugging and modifying forked libraries
• Working knowledge of deploying ML pipelines in Azure.
• Familiarity latest models coming out of academia and domain leaders
• Some familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask, or FastAPI
• Applicants should have strong core coding skills, passion for software quality, improving the design/development process, and building highly available systems
• Experience with Object Oriented design (OOP)
• Experience with a Relational Database Management System (Postgres, SQL, Oracle, etc)
• Modern development patterns and platforms (Microservices, Web Services (REST)
