DevOps Specialist
Los Angeles, CA (Remote)
6-Month Contract (Extendable)

Solugenix is assisting a client, a health insurance company, in their search for a DevOps Specialist. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA (Remote).
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of proven expertise in DevSecOps practices and toolchain implementation.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Snyk, SonarQube Cloud, and Rapid7.
- Strong background in security automation and integrating security findings into issue-tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Vulcan, or the ability to quickly ramp up on similar vulnerability management tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and optimize Snyk, SonarQube Cloud, and Rapid7 for enterprise use.
- Set up SSO integration for these tools.
- Automate scanning workflows and integrate findings into JIRA (and Vulcan in the near future).
- Collaborate with DevOps, InfoSec, and Development teams to align security scanning with CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and guidance to internal teams.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $65/hour to $70/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
