About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large-scale multifamily projects ($30M+), particularly stick frame, podium, and wrap construction. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside senior leadership and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in all phases of project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
  • Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and change management.
  • Facilitate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document control in collaboration with design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building codes, and company standards.
  • Manage daily communication between field staff, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly project reports, pay applications, and progress tracking.
  • Support safety and quality control initiatives, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project risk items and work with leadership to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in regular on-site meetings to review project progress, issues, and solutions.


Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction, preferably with $30M+ projects.
  • Strong knowledge of stick frame, podium, and wrap construction methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Autodesk, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and owners.
  • OSHA certification a plus.
