FixAI is the first multi-family, multi-activity AI assistant built specifically for the LATAM region. From managing your agenda to organizing school supplies for your children, FixAI helps keep every aspect of your life organized and streamlined. Our vision is to build the most trusted personal AI companion in the region—supporting families and individuals with productivity, wellness, and everyday life.

We are in the early building stage, founded by entrepreneurs with experience scaling technology companies in LatAm (IguanaFix, Mercado Libre, insurtech and SaaS ventures). This is a unique opportunity to join as a founding team member and shape the technology and culture from the ground up.

Role description.

This is a full-time role located in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area (hybrid/remote flexibility) for the Head of Technology – AI Native (Mobile + AI).

The Head of Technology will be responsible for defining and executing FixAI’s technology vision and roadmap, with a mobile-first, AI-native approach. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building scalable mobile and AI systems.
• Overseeing IT strategy, architecture, and operations.
• Managing product development cycles from prototype to scale.
• Leading, mentoring, and growing the engineering team.
• Working closely with the founding team on product, go-to-market, and user adoption strategy.

This is not only a leadership role—it’s an opportunity to be hands-on, building prototypes, experimenting with AI features, and shaping the product experience for early adopters.

Qualifications.

• Strong background in Information Technology and Product Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role (Head of Tech, CTO, or Architect).
• Proven experience in mobile development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native).
• Hands-on expertise in AI/LLM technologies (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agents, vector databases, API orchestration).
• Experience managing IT operations and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to formulate and execute a technology strategy aligned with product and business goals.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building products from zero.
• English and Spanish proficiency are a plus.
