Arcus Search have partnered with a leader in the Defense space, assisting them with the build-out of their Cyber Security Services Team.

Cyber Security Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing the cybersecurity performance of our platform (detection and response) by analyzing requirements and implementing necessary improvements.
• Recommending product and configuration updates in line with evolving business needs and the changing threat landscape.
• Driving the evolution of our services by engaging with stakeholders and understanding the impact of cybersecurity initiatives.
• Safeguarding our cybersecurity posture through rigorous validation of systems following maintenance activities.
• Assessing and qualifying suppliers by evaluating the maturity of their cybersecurity practices during maintenance operations.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity products.
• Ensuring the long-term effectiveness and compliance of cybersecurity policies.
• Maintaining a robust cyber defense by:
• - Developing and updating detection strategies.
• - Designing and revising incident response playbooks.
• - Reviewing and enhancing product configurations.
• Acting as a role model by promoting and teaching cybersecurity best practices to all stakeholders during maintenance processes.

You will be required to work on-site in Zeebrugge, Belgium 3 days per/week.

You must be able to able to undergo high level Security Clearance in Belgium.

Applicants must be based in Belgium.

Dutch speaking highly desirable.
