Power BI Development & BI Analytics

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: Yes (2 - 3 days/week onsite)

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract, preferably

Mandatory Languages: Fluent in English + French or Dutch (C1 minimum)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft BI Consultant to join our team. This is a hybrid position that combines hands-on Power BI development with strategic BI analytics and consulting.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor or Master’s degree

• 5+ years of professional experience as a BI consultant

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft BI (Power BI, Azure, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) - Mandatory

• Knowledge of other BI tools

• Understanding of data warehouse architecture, design, and implementation

• Ideally, exposure to Artificial Intelligence / advanced analytics

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English

What you will do

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure semantic models support dynamic and scalable data visualization solutions

• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports using input from project managers or business owners

• Develop Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions using the Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Azure)

• Support and manage version migrations across BI environments

• Collaborate on or develop the complete BI architecture set-up

• Contribute to the full data warehouse lifecycle from integration to architecture design

• Advise stakeholders on BI strategy, KPIs, and advanced analytics opportunities
