Our client Icelandair is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to strengthen their Digital Operations team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our network environment is robust, secure, and ready to support the critical operations of an international airline.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage, configure, and maintain Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize network configurations.
- Ensure strong security through firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Apply firmware updates, patches, and upgrades to network devices.
- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration and top performance.
- Proven track record as a Network Engineer (or similar role).
- Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet networking and security solutions.
- Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) or Solution Specialist (FCSS) certification – a strong advantage.
- Experience with Juniper routing, switching, and Junos OS – beneficial.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
