Network Engineer – LAN & Wireless Infrastructure (Build)

Role

We’re seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join the LAN & Wireless Engineering team. The role is 100% build-focused, delivering enterprise LAN/WLAN deployments for a leading French telecom and managed services provider. No troubleshooting, ops, or architecture — this is pure implementation and rollout work.

Responsibilities

• Deploy enterprise LAN/WLAN solutions across datacenters and customer sites.
• Configure secure wired access (802.1X, MAB, EAP-TLS, Cisco ISE).
• Roll out and tune wireless infrastructure (WLCs, APs, SSIDs).
• Configure L2/L3 switching (VLANs, STP, QoS, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP).
• Deliver site builds, expansions, refreshes, and security upgrades.
• Work from LLDs to standardize builds and maintain templates, scripts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with PMs and architects for consistent delivery.

• Switching: Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300/9500, Aruba
• Wireless: Cisco Aironet, WLC (5508/9800), Aruba APs
• Access Control: Cisco ISE, RADIUS, AD, EAP-TLS
• Protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP
• Tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, Syslog, Cisco DNA Center, NetBox, Visio
• Optional: Python/Ansible scripting and automation

Profile

• 5+ years in enterprise LAN/WLAN engineering
• Expert Cisco switching and wireless skills
• Strong experience with 802.1X, RADIUS, Cisco ISE
• In-depth L2/L3 and TCP/IP knowledge
• Used to change-controlled builds and solid documentation practices
• Telco/operator/integrator background preferred

Certifications

• CCIE-level knowledge expected (Enterprise or R&S)
• Active CCIE certification a plus
