I’m recruiting on behalf of an agentic AI company based in Berlin that’s engineering autonomous systems to tackle the most complex industrial workflows - orchestrating machines on the factory floor, optimising supply chains in real time, and enabling predictive maintenance before breakdowns occur.

Their AI agents aren’t simple bots following scripts. They’re adaptive, event-driven systems that learn from live sensor data, handle edge cases instantly, and continually self-optimise for throughput, efficiency, and resilience. Think Kubernetes for industrial intelligence.

Role:

Hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) in Berlin

Hybrid (2 Days Remote / Week)

Office based near Checkpoint Charlie

In this role, you’ll take ownership of backend development, API design, and system reliability, while collaborating closely with frontend and cutting-edge ML teams to deliver scalable, production-grade features that power next-generation agentic platforms.

You’ll play a key role in building core services within a modern microservices architecture - developing intelligent, autonomous Agentic AI systems for industrial workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience building backend services in microservices and distributed architectures
• Deep Golang expertise, delivering production-grade systems with clean, scalable code
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, or similar)
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC (we use Terraform)
• Comfortable collaborating with front-end, ML, and operations teams
• Bonus: exposure to ML / AI pipelines + real-time processing
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team orientation
