Cyber Security - IT Project Manager
Fixed Term Contract (up to 2 years)
Dublin (Hybrid)
We are hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to support the management of a portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on Cyber Security initiatives. The role will ensure projects are delivered in line with PMO Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management policies and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage IT and Cyber Security projects in accordance with PMO standards.
- Support the overall project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Define and deliver project plans, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate resources across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, provide scheduled reports, and maintain RAID logs.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure change management and quality assurance standards are met.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and suppliers.
- Host and participate in project meetings, stand-ups, and review sessions.
- Provide feedback to support process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Relevant degree in IT or Project Management.
- PRINCE2 Certification essential; Agile delivery experience is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Project Management, ideally with exposure to Cyber Security projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and schedules.
- Experience leading multiple workstreams and coordinating teams.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft O365 suite, particularly SharePoint Online and Teams.
- Excellent organisational, process-driven, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in leadership and team roles.
