We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge drone systems. The role involves full-cycle electronics design - from concept to production - with a strong focus on PCB development, component selection, and collaboration with manufacturing partners.
Exact duties and responsibilities:
● Design and development of electronic circuits, PCBs (Altium Designer), and UAV systems.
● Component selection, prototyping, soldering, debugging, and equipment testing (drones, autopilots, modules).
● Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (schematics, BOMs, guidelines).
● Research, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical solutions.
● Collaboration with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
● Project planning and team coordination.
Other responsibilities:
● Responsible for current task completion and successful result in time.
● Responsible for all equipment, trusted by the employer.
● Maintain company’s resources are being used rationally and effectively.
● Follow Law of workforce and other regulations active in the Republic of Latvia.
● Follow “Safety in workplace” rules and other company’s safety regulations.
● Keep Company’s and its clients’ information strongly confidential.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
● Languages: Latvian, English - fluently.
● Hands-on experience with lab measurement equipment.
● Experience in UAV, robotics, or aerospace electronics will be considered as an advantage.
● Knowledge of EMC, vibration, and thermal requirements will be considered as an advantage.
● Basic knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++) or scripting (Python) will be considered as an advantage.
● Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and version control will be considered as an advantage.
Required knowledge:
● Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and circuit design.
● Proven experience in PCB design and layout.
● Proficiency with electronics CAD tools, preferably Altium Designer.
● Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly technologies.
● Practical experience in sourcing and selecting electronic components.
● Ability to resolve complex engineering challenges with innovative solutions.
● Experience working with electronics manufacturing partners.
● Strong documentation skills (schematics, BOM, Gerber, assembly docs).
