COME PREPARED

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Educational background: BSc/BA/MSc/MA degree(s) in relevant disciplines such as statistics, computational social sciences, economics, data science, artificial intelligence, or related quantitative fields. Candidates from other disciplines with demonstrable skills and/or experience in quantitative research, data science, and GenAI will also be considered.
  • Experience: 0–1 year of experience in policy evaluation and analysis. This should include some demonstrable application of statistical, data science, computational social science, NLP, and GenAI methods, to policy and social issues (e.g., from academic projects, internships, or personal work).
  • Experience with Python is crucial as most of our solutions are built using Python. While not required, knowledge of R, MATLAB, SQL, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript will also be considered an advantage, as would familiarity with software engineering principles, systems design, and/or cloud services (preferably MS Azure).
  • Foundational understanding of EU institutions and decision-making processes at the EU level is appreciated but not required.
  • Full English proficiency and good writing skills.

Important note: We don't expect candidates to meet every single requirement. We believe in building a diverse team with complementary skills, and in today's fast-paced tech world, we value adaptability and continuous learning over existing expertise. If you're confident you can excel in some of these areas and are eager to learn others, we strongly encourage you to apply.
