The position holder will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications developed by our client through structured testing activities.

This role plays a key part in the software development lifecycle by identifying defects, verifying functionality and validating that systems meet business and technical requirements.

TASK REPONSABILITIES

• Perform thorough manual and automation testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and stability
• Identify areas suitable for automation and create automated test scripts
• Perform API testing
• Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring their resolution and retesting in collaboration with the development team
• Conduct regression tests to verify that recent changes have not adversely affected existing features
• Create test cases, test scripts, and detailed reports of test results
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Ensure the highest quality of the projects/products assigned
• Create test plans, design test scenarios and test cases
• Design, execute and maintain test scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet stakeholders needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Ensure that all tested products meet specified standards and end-user requirements

ESSENTIAL TECHNOLOGIES:

• API Testing with Postman, REST Assured, Bruno
• Automation testing with Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright
• Jira Xray for test management & reporting
• Gitlab CI
• Script languages with Python, Shell Scripting
• Java programming

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCES

• You have Bac+3 or Bac+5 in IT
• You are ISTQB Foundation level certified
• You speak English (C2 minimum), French is a plus
• You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with a a preference for 5 to 10 years of practical software testing
